ELO, and am I buying CDs for the sake of it on a Thursday???

Howdy from the heady heights of a lovely Thursday! Back from an absolutely lovely afternoon tea, at a swanky, grand 5* hotel, treating my gorgeous, heavily-pregnant wife to an afternoon of leisure!

Have been listening to lots and lots of ELO, but I have to be frank when I say that I am not quite there on writing a piece about them - I want to write as much (if not more) as I wrote about Mansun, and I know I have neither the time or facility to do this as I type right now! So, next week will be ELO week - sorry if you were tuning-in especially for this!

The ELO collab playlist is available to whet your appetite though - check it out:

Just bought three CDs on eBay - not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I absolutely love soundtracks/OSTs. So, I decided earlier tonight to simply search by the following keyword on eBay "soundtrack", I bid on three and I won all of them:

Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
(well, we have already had a couple of Bryan Adams tracks on there so far, and this looks mostly score-like)
Stand By Me (definitely worth a listen)
but, the highlight - Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (really looking forward to this one!)

I have to ask the question though - am I serious!? Am I buying too many CDs right now, if these are what I'm grabbing for right now?! These cost me, together, £4.49. Good business? Would I pay £1.50 for each of these if I saw them in a second hand music store or charity shop? You know what, I would, so push off - I'm doing the right thing!!!!!

Have a great Thursday night everyone - see you all tomorrow!
